About

Founded originally as The Bowdoin Globalist in 2011, The Bowdoin Review provides a space for students interested in writing on the world beyond Bowdoin College. Each staff writer is encouraged to delve into topics that grip them individually, which produces a range of work from long-form journalism to deep-dives through personal and political essays. Each article represents the view of the writer and in traversing oftentimes new territory, our staff offers thoughtful expositions to topics that excite or interest them. In addition to prose, The Bowdoin Review also features student art and poetry. Published both online and in print each semester, The Bowdoin Review is the definitive voice on campus for politics, society, and culture.

All of our current print editions can be read in their original magazine forms.
